Abstract:
— The Route Planner UUM application offers an
innovative solution to address the challenges faced by students
in navigating the UUM campus effectively. By employing
optimized navigation and shortest path routing, the application
provides students with the most efficient routes, saving time and
reducing unnecessary detours. This research paper presents the
development process, which involved applying Dijkstra's
algorithm and an Agile software development life cycle.
Usability evaluations were conducted to gather user feedback
and enhance the application's usability and functionality. The
results demonstrate the significance of the Route Planner UUM
application in improving campus exploration and promoting
sustainable transportation practices. The application's
contribution to society lies in its ability to enhance the campus
experience, foster inclusivity, and contribute to the field of
computer networks and mobile navigation systems.
